Movie Review: Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Combined Rating: 48% (S:39%; P:59%) - The fact is that after a somewhat disappointing domestic launch for the original Fantastic Four many thought the series was through. Somehow the film managed to find a large international audience and the pot of gold proved to be enough to overcome the creative bankruptcy. How unfortunate that the creative bankruptcy continues and engulfs another potential franchise in Rise of the Silver Surfer. Now, not one but two legendary Marvel comics are wrapped up in one mediocre movie franchise.
