Combined Rating: 58% (S:57%; P:61%) - Great animation, great music, and yet a sleeping pill of a film, Happy Feet is one of the more disappointing films of the year. The trailer promised a pop musical, the movie is a lesson in over-fishing around Antarctica, even an environmentalist like myself found it difficult to keep my eyes from rolling. If you want to send an environmental message to little kids atleast dress it up with some great pop tunes, Happy Feet tried that and abandoned it far too quicklyin favor of dull preaching.
