Prithviraj to create history with ‘Udayananu Tharam’ tamil remake

For a long time, everybody was talking about remaking the Malayalam blockbuster in Tamil. There are a few changes in the plan though. Roshan Andrews is not going to direct the Tamil version. Instead, actor/producer Prakashraj is going to make his debut as a director with this film. He is also the film’s producer.
Prakashraj is going to star in the film. He will play the role that Shrinivasan did in Malayalam. In all likelihood, Sneha might be the heroine. Prithviraj’s newfound popularity in Tamil and his unconventional image had got him this role. His recent film, ‘Parijatham’ turned out to be a surprise hit at the box office. The film marked his debut as a hero in Tamil.
With this project materialising, Prithviraj is all set to create history. This will be the first instance in which a prominent malayalam actor playing the lead role in the tamil remake of a malayalam movie to which he was in no way associated with.
