Stunning Trailer of Zhang Yimou’s Chinese movie “Curse of the Golden Flower”
From the director of Hero and House of Flying Daggers, Zhang Yimou, comes yet another sword play classic titled “Curse of the Golden Flower”. Based on a play by Cao Yu, the movie stars Chow Yun Fat, Joyce Chou, Gong Li and a big supporting cast. Zhang Yimou, who is always known for his poetic visualisation is believed to have come up with another classic this time. Now for the first time we give you the live visuals from the movie in this exclusive teaser trailer.
Chow Yun-Fat and Gong Li play star-crossed lovers who fall in love within the borders of a kingdom. She plays Phoenix, an imperial bodyguard, while he plays Prince Ping. Numerous forces, including Ping’s stepmother, who is also in love with him, try to keep the lovers apart. It leads them on a dangerous journey where secrets of the royal family are uncovered.
