Amol Palekar to make a film on Gay Homosexuals
After Paheli, director Amol Palekar is all ready for a new Quest and this one comes with a message. “It’s about how a married woman one day realises that her husband is in a love with a homosexual and then about her trials and tribulations,” said Amol Palekar, director.
The protagonists played by Mrinal Kulkarni and Shishir Sharma say their roles were very complex.
“I play a lawyer in the film who comes from a very demanding profession. One fine day she gets to know that her husband is homosexual and how she deals with the problem,” said Mrinal Kulkarni, actress.
“My role in the film is of a third person who comes into the life of the married couple and its a man this time. I’m playing a very straight forward down to earth young man who falls in love with this guy,” said Shishir Sharma, actor.
The film releases on September 29 and naturally all those involved hope their quest goes well.
